Water Spider - 2nd Shift

Reports to: General Labor Supervisor

Cooperates with: Welders, Metal Fab Operators, Shippers, Safety, Customer Service, and Quality

Schedule

Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Move materials, components, and supplies to welders and shipping.
• Prep material for production teams within the facility.
• Monitor inventory levels at workstations and notify supervisors of shortages.
• Stage materials according to production schedules.
• Keep aisles organized and free of hazards.
• Move materials using carts, pallet jacks, or forklifts (if certified).
• Follow all safety, quality, and standard operating procedures.
• Clean and grind silencers.
• Assist welders with measuring and layout of materials.
• Cut and prep insulation and screening for fabrication.
• Assist welders with the installation of welding materials.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• 1 + years of general warehouse experience and knowledge relating to manufacturing preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lb individually and heavier items with team lift.
• Knowledge of safe workplace practices.
