About the role
This position assists in the repair and maintenance of the water distribution and sewer collection system.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the repair and maintenance of the water distribution and sewer collection system
- Respond to emergency calls related to water and sewer issues
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on water and sewer infrastructure
- Operate and maintain various pieces of equipment used in water and sewer maintenance
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to pass a background check
- Physical ability to perform tasks such as climbing, lifting, and working in confined spaces
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in water and/or sewer maintenance
- Experience operating heavy equipment such as backhoes, excavators, and trucks
- Knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems
Skills
- Strong mechanical aptitude
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency with computer software used in maintenance operations

Pay
The pay range for this position is $40,000 - $50,000 annually.
Schedule
The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
