Maintenance Technician I

Responsibilities

• Remove trash and wash windows/walls.
• Maintain floors through cleaning, buffing, stripping, waxing, and carpet cleaning.
• Assist with building and grounds maintenance, including lawn care and snow removal.
• Perform general repairs to facility and residents' equipment.
• Operate various hand and power tools, and use floor care, grounds-keeping, and maintenance equipment safely.

Requirements

• Preferred experience in a healthcare setting.
• Experience in building and grounds maintenance.
• Valid Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.

Qualifications

• Commensurate with experience.

Skills

• Safe operation of various hand and power tools.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques.
• Ability to perform general repairs.
• Knowledge of building and grounds maintenance practices.
