About the role

Support the planning, design, and delivery of a variety of municipal water and wastewater infrastructure projects throughout the Midwest. Project work includes water distribution systems, water transmission mains, sewer collection systems, and stormwater and drainage projects.

Responsibilities

  • Completes assigned work within the schedule and number of hours provided.
  • Prepares and modifies project reports, plans, designs, and calculations.
  • Develops project quantities and assists with cost estimates.
  • Aids engineering teams with design file organization and administrative support.
  • Self-sufficiently completes tasks including research, data collection, field investigations, and project design.
  • Supports engineering teams with project execution, evaluates design alternatives, and delivers high-quality solutions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 2 years of relevant experience, or
  • Master’s degree in Engineering with 1 year of relevant experience.

Preferred

  • Engineer in Training (EIT) certification,
  • Knowledgeable in MicroStation and/or AutoCAD.

What You'll Bring

  • Proficiency in applying engineering, geometric, and algebraic principles,
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and design software as required for job assignments.

What You'll Do
