Water Resources Engineer I - Moving I-4 Forward

About the role

The Water Resources Engineer I position is embedded within the Moving I-4 Forward Program Office in Celebration, FL. Reporting to the office full-time, this role serves as part of the infrastructure team.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project specifications and complete project documents, analysis, and reports.
• Analyze and interpret data, perform design, planning, and impact studies, cost analyses, site selection, and limited design layouts.
• Design complete projects, systems, components, and processes.
• Perform quality control reviews and field reviews and observations of ongoing construction projects.
• Provide technical guidance and assign tasks to junior and support staff for project duration and/or manage discipline and small multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
• PE license and good standing.
• Knowledge of applicable federal, state, and local codes, criteria, regulations, and ordinances.
• Proficiency in production software and construction document production.
• A passion for problem-solving with innovative solutions.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to interact effectively with clients, customers, contractors, team members, and other key stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree from an ABET accredited program or equivalent combination of education and experience.
