About the role
The Water Operator I position is responsible for operating and maintaining water treatment facilities to ensure safe and reliable water supply.
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor water treatment systems
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment
- Ensure compliance with environmental regulations
- Respond to emergencies and incidents
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver’s license
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
Qualifications
- Experience in water treatment operations
- Knowledge of safety protocols and emergency response procedures
Skills
- Proficient in computer software related to water treatment
- Strong problem-solving skills

Pay
The salary range for this position is $30,000 - $35,000 annually.
Schedule
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM, with occasional weekend and holiday shifts.
