Water Jetting Technician

Responsibilities

• Service current customers to resolve drain cleaning and preventive maintenance issues using high pressure water jetting equipment.
• Perform tasks including line locating, providing repair estimates, and performing the service.
• Build commercial customer base by visiting target customers to offer preventative maintenance agreements.
• Moves levers and presses pedals to drive truck and control movement and operation of water jetting system.
• Documents and computes weekly receipts, invoices, and expenses with the branch accounting personnel.
• Maintains truck by recharging batteries, filling fuel tank, and cleaning vehicle parts and equipment.

Requirements

• If using a pull-behind jet machine, a DOT license is required.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• Good written and oral communication skills in English for effective customer service.
• A valid driver's license.
• Ability to grasp, push, pull, squat, bend, and twist to safely operate the water jetting system.
• Manual dexterity to use basic tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, and hammers.
