About the role
Working with our Water/Wastewater team, you will work with multidiscipline staff on a variety of projects from concept to construction. You will coordinate and build relationships with clients as you work through the construction process.
Responsibilities
- Planning and design of water and wastewater projects, from concept through construction.
- Coordination with clients to obtain background and operating information.
- Data evaluation, identification of appropriate treatment technologies, development of basis of design and hydraulic calculations, and preparation of engineering reports.
- Development of design drawings and specifications and obtaining construction permits from regulatory agencies.
- Interaction with project teams in a multi-disciplinary and multi-office environment.
- Participation in marketing efforts with client visits and support in writing proposals and fee development.
Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Civil or Environmental Engineering
- Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Ohio, or the ability to obtain within six months
- 5+ years of water and wastewater process design, treatment technology selection, and plan and specification development
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Familiarity with CAD software. BIM and Revit capability are a plus
- Experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Outlook, and Excel
