Water and Sewer Modeling Engineer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Water/Wastewater Modeling Engineer to lead hydraulic modeling and master planning projects from conception to completion.

Responsibilities

• Perform process design calculations and create population and demand projections.
• Develop high-quality project designs using CAD and modeling software.
• Conduct technical analysis, prepare construction documents, and provide construction support.
• Collaborate with team members on wastewater collection, treatment, water supply, storage, and distribution projects.
• Apply advanced engineering concepts, ensure design quality through QA/QC, and mentor junior staff.
• Research complex issues and contribute to standards and guidelines development.
• Build and maintain strong client relationships to meet project expectations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field.
• 10+ years of experience with water and sewer modeling software such as InfoWorks ICM, SewerGEMS, WaterGEMS, InfoWater Pro, or WaterCAD.
• Strong understanding of hydraulics, water/wastewater master planning, and technical analysis.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively.
