What You Will Be Doing

• Greet guests warmly, offer advice, and guidance regarding the hotel
• Aid with lockouts, malfunctioning keys, and other operational issues
• Ensure all guests receive directions on how to reach their intended destinations
• Respond to guest and employee accidents and injuries on the hotel property
• Administer first aid, contact emergency services if needed
• Secure first reports of injury in the case of employee injuries
• Maintain surveillance of the hotel premises to ensure safety and security
• Correct any safety hazards and cleanliness issues promptly
• Engage suspicious persons to limit liability and summon law enforcement as needed
• Field security calls and dispatch accordingly
• Escalate issues in a timely and professional manner

Requirements

• Must be 21 years or older and have a valid (state) driver’s license
• Must have a good understanding of the English language
• Prior work experience in private security firm or law enforcement is desirable
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
• The ability to prepare written reports and logs in neat, legible handwriting
• Decent computer and technology skills
• Excellent customer service and maintaining a professional demeanor
• Ability to work under pressure
• Good listening skills to ensure accurate understanding of guest wishes

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to walk and stand for extended periods of time

Travel Requirements

• This position requires up to 10% travel
• Travel may outside the local area and overnight
