Watch Officer- Mid

About the Role

Monitor the operational status of MCEN services and systems. Maintain situational awareness for the operations center/watch floor. Coordinate with network operations, cybersecurity, service desk, field teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Receive and track network outages, incidents and significant events
• Escalate significant incidents to the technical teams and leadership
• Track incidents through resolution and ensure proper documentation
• Prepare shift turnover reports, daily operational summaries and incident reports
• Participate in incident bridges or conference calls during major outages
• Monitor trouble tickets

Requirements

• 7 years' experience working in similar environments
• Experience in a NOC, SOC, help desk, command center, or DoD watch environment
• Strong communication skills, written and verbal

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Security+ Certification

Pay

$75,000 to $90,000 annually
