Wastewater Treatment Operator

This position works out of our Casa Grande, Arizona location in the Abbott Nutrition division. Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain IPP equipment and systems
• Operate IPP equipment and related control systems; ie, SBR, Influent EQ, Sludge, Dewatering Press, Sludge Removal, Chemical Feed
• Maintain log of operations and record all lab data and meter and gauge readings
• Monitor control system and make adjustments as needed to maintain compliance with the discharge permit issued by the City of Casa Grande
• Observe variations in operating conditions, interpret lab test results, along with current and historical data to maintain proper control of the system
• You’ll be accountable for meeting our compliance standards including FDA, OSHA and Abbott policies and procedures

Requirements

• HSD/GED
• Algebra
• Experience with biological wastewater treatment systems a bonus, good mechanical/scientific aptitude required
• Good data analysis, reasoning, and troubleshooting skills necessary to adjust system operations properly to varying conditions in real time

Qualifications

• Grade 2 Wastewater Treatment Operator Certificate
• Shift Rotating 4x10s Monday-Friday 0600-1630 & 0930-2000 & Saturday-Sunday 0600-1630

Skills

• Good mechanical/scientific aptitude
• Data analysis, reasoning, and troubleshooting skills

Pay

The base pay for this position is $20.85 – $41.75 per hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.

Schedule

Shift Rotating 4x10s Monday-Friday 0600-1630 & 0930-2000 & Saturday-Sunday 0600-1630.
