Wastewater Technician II - Graveyard (29817)

Position Summary

Pentagon Technologies, Inc. is seeking outstanding candidates to join our team as a Wastewater Technician II. This position is available on the Graveyard Shift (Su-Th 10pm-6:30am).

Essential Duties

• Treat waste from processes and manage chemical waste, including filtration and the maintenance of chemical tanks.
• Collect and review data related to instrument performance, part pass/fail rates, and inventory usage, collaborating with engineering on baseline data monitoring.
• Inspect and process components from initial stage to completion, maintaining quality control.
• Support Chemists and Senior Wastewater Laboratory Technicians as needed.
• Maintain equipment calibration and operational status; participate in safety training as required.
• Communicate status updates, incidents, and requests with team members.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or GED required; technical course work preferred.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in wastewater operations.
• Proficient with SCADA, GID and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong understanding of confined space entry, trench safety and hazardous materials handling.
• Excellent communication, troubleshooting and leadership skills.
• Strong mathematical skills for processing inventory and performing complex calculations related to chemistry concentrations.
• Familiarity with chemical handling and safety protocols, particularly in relation to hazardous waste management.
• Knowledge of machinery and pumps related to wastewater treatment processes.
