Wastewater Operator Class IV

Key Responsibilities

• Overtake and operate wastewater treatment processes to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Monitor plant operations and make adjustments as needed.
• Analyze lab and operational data to maintain treatment performance.
• Troubleshoot process, mechanical, and equipment issues.
• Cook up and support maintenance of plant equipment.
• Maintain accurate logs, reports, and compliance documentation.
• Lead and support lower-level operators.
• Respond to alarms, upsets, and emergency situations.
• Aid with inspections, audits, and regulatory coordination.
• Enforce safety procedures and company standards.

Skills

• Active Level IV Wastewater Operator License (or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of wastewater treatment processes and regulations.
• Experience in municipal wastewater plant operations.
• Mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills.
• Leadership ability and experience supporting a team.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Commitment to safety and regulatory compliance.
