Wastewater operator-1

GE Vernova · Allentown, PA · 1 mo ago
On-siteManagement$23–$29/hrFull-time
We need to output HTML fragment with sections: About the role? The posting includes "Job Description Summary" and "Job Description Wastewater Operator (PA Metem Site)" then "What You’ll Do", "What You’ll Bring", "Eligibility Requirements", "What Will Make You Stand Out", "Pay Transparency", "Additional Information". We need to map to headings: About the role, Responsibilities, Requirements, Qualifications, Skills, Benefits, Pay, Schedule. Use

for each section heading. Use
  • for any list of duties/requirements/benefits, and

for prose. Do NOT repeat job title as heading. Do NOT put Job ID/requisition numbers as headings. Preserve all substantive info. Remove boilerplate: cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning, duplicated lines, application instructions. Also remove "Pay Transparency:" maybe we keep pay info but not the phrase? We need to include Pay section only if posting actually states them. It does: Pay range $23.00/hr - $29.00/hr. So we include Pay section. Schedule: Not mentioned explicitly. There's mention of overtime, occasional weekend shifts, but not schedule details like shift times. Probably we should not create Schedule section unless posting actually states them. It mentions ability to work overtime as required, occasional weekend shifts. That's schedule-related but not explicit schedule. The instruction: never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless posting actually states them. For Schedule, we have mention of overtime and weekend shifts, which could be considered schedule info. Might be safe to include Schedule section with that info. However they said "never create Pay/Schedule/Benefits sections unless the posting actually states them." The posting states ability to work overtime as required, including occasional weekend shifts. That's schedule info. So we can include Schedule section. Benefits: The posting includes Additional Information with benefits: medical, dental, vision, prescription drug coverage; access to Health Coach; Employee Assistance Program; Retirement benefits (GE Vernova Retirement Savings Plan 401(k) with company matching, etc.); tuition assistance, adoption assistance, paid parental leave, disability benefits, life insurance, 12 paid holidays; new hires also two weeks of annual vacation (pro-rated). Also mention geographic differential. So we include Benefits section. Now we need to decide which content goes under which heading. We have sections: About the role (maybe summary), Responsibilities (What You’ll Do), Requirements (Eligibility Requirements + maybe Minimum experience?), Qualifications (What You’ll Bring? Actually "What You’ll Bring" includes education, experience, skills). Skills: maybe "What Will Make You Stand Out". Could also include skills there. We need to avoid duplication. Let's map: - About the role: Use the Job Description Summary paragraph: "The Wastewater Operator will perform overall operation and maintenance of our industrial waste treatment plant, controlling the acid neutralization/chemical precipitation process in accordance with permit discharge parameters. In addition to treatment plant operations, this role will manage hazardous waste handling and shipments, oversee bulk material receiving, maintain wash and rinse tank preventative maintenance (PM) schedules, and coordinate directly with EHS personnel to ensure site safety, permit adherence, and regulatory compliance." That's a prose summary. - Responsibilities: Use "What You’ll Do" bullet list (the list of duties). We'll convert each line into

  • . - Requirements: Could be "Eligibility Requirements": ability to lift/push/pull 50 lbs, ability to work overtime including occasional weekend shifts, DOT certification or equivalent in hazardous waste transportation laws, willingness to wear PPE, Export Control: must be US Person. Also maybe "Minimum of 3 years of operating experience" is a requirement but could be under Qualifications. We'll put experience under Requirements? Actually "What You’ll Bring" includes High School Diploma or GED equivalent, Minimum of 3 years of operating experience, Basic computer skills. Those are qualifications. We'll treat "What You’ll Bring" as Qualifications. - Qualifications: Use "What You’ll Bring": High School Diploma or GED equivalent; Minimum of 3 years of operating experience; Basic computer skills (email, data logging). Also maybe "Ability to lift/push/pull..." is eligibility but we already have that under Requirements. We'll keep. - Skills: Use "What Will Make You Stand Out": Completion of PADEP-recognized industrial wastewater training; PADEP Industrial Wastewater Operator license (Class B or higher preferred); Advanced RCRA hazardous waste training; Ability to run forklift; Strong written and verbal communication skills; Proven ability to work independently and in a cross-functional team; Proficiency in mechanical and electrical maintenance/troubleshooting; Demonstrated commitment to high ethical standards, safety, and regulatory integrity. - Benefits: Use Additional Information benefits list. - Pay: Use Pay Transparency line: "The pay range for this position is $23.00/hr - $29.00/hr." Also maybe mention "The position will remain open until a candidate is identified for offer." That's not pay; we can ignore as boilerplate? It's not pay but maybe not needed. We'll keep just pay range. - Schedule: Use eligibility requirement about overtime and occasional weekend shifts. Also maybe mention "Ability to work overtime as required, including occasional weekend shifts." That's schedule. We'll put that. We must not repeat job title as heading. We'll not include "Wastewater Operator" as heading. We must not include Job ID/requisition numbers. We must remove boilerplate: EEO, equal opportunity, legal, etc. Also remove "Additional Information GE Vernova offers a great work environment..." but we need to keep benefits. The paragraph about great work environment etc is boilerplate? It's somewhat generic but still part of benefits description. We'll keep the benefits list but maybe drop the fluff. The instruction: Remove cookie/navigation/legal/EEO/equal-opportunity/scam-warning boilerplate, duplicated lines, and application instructions. The "GE Vernova offers a great work environment, professional development, challenging careers, and competitive compensation." is somewhat fluff but not explicitly prohibited. Might keep as part of benefits? But we can keep it as part of benefits prose. However we should avoid filler like "commensurate with experience". Not present. We'll produce HTML:

    Schedule

Ability to work overtime as required, including occasional weekend shifts.

We need to ensure we didn't duplicate the overtime line (already in Requirements). But we moved it to Schedule; we could keep it only in Schedule and remove from Requirements. However Requirements also includes ability to work overtime; we could keep it there and not duplicate. The instruction: Preserve ALL substantive information; do NOT invent or summarize away detail. If we keep it only in Schedule, we still preserve it. If we keep it in both, it's duplicated. Better to keep it only in one place. Since Schedule section is about schedule, we can put it there and remove from Requirements. But Requirements also includes other items like lift, DOT, PPE, US Person. We'll keep those. Thus Requirements list: lift, DOT certification, PPE, US Person. Schedule list: ability to work overtime as required, including occasional weekend shifts. Check if any other schedule info: none. Now ensure we didn't include any boilerplate like "This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information. If applicable, final offers will be contingent on ability to obtain authorization for access to U.S. export-controlled information from the U.S. Government." That's part of export control but we already have US Person requirement. The extra sentence about contingent offers is maybe boilerplate but it's substantive? It's about offer contingency. Might be considered part of eligibility? Could be kept under Requirements? But it's about export control. The posting says: "This
