Wastewater Industrial Electrician/Instrumentation Technician

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license.
• Possession of a Master Electrician license.
• Minimum of three years of high voltage (480 V) electrical experience, with some control system, variable frequency drive, and PLC programming experience.

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or general education degree.

Language Skills

• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
• Ability to write correspondence.
• Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees of the organization.

Mental and Physical Demands

• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms and talk or hear.
• The employee may be required to lift up to 25 pounds.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
• Work environment; travel from site to site; exposure to noise, dust, grease, fumes, noxious odors, gases, vibrations and all types of weather and temperature conditions; exposure to hazardous traffic conditions; work in or around water; work and/or walk on various types of surfaces including slippery or uneven surfaces and rough terrain.
