Waste WTP Operator
Qualifications
- High School education or equivalent.
- Must possess Wastewater Operator license.
- Must possess or obtain and maintain Class II Water Operator license within 4 months of selected candidate's date of hire and throughout employment in this role.
- Must provide verifiable evidence of a minimum of 12 months experience in the maintenance mechanic field.
- Must possess the tools of their trade.
- Must possess a valid state driver’s license.
- Must have and wear hard-toed safety shoes which meet ASTM F2413- 05 standards.
Benefits
- Health & Welfare: $15.42 per hour contributed to benefits (effective 12/01/25).

- Paid Time Off: Starts at 2.62 hours per pay period (136 hours annually), with increases based on tenure.

- Pay Premiums & Compensation: Shift Differential: Extra $1.75–$2.00/hour depending on shift start time. Hazard Pay: $3.00/hour for designated high-risk work areas. Lead Pay: Additional $2.25/hour for lead roles (temporary or permanent). On-Call Pay: Two hours of overtime pay per day when on call during off-days/holidays.
- Safety & Equipment Benefits: Safety Shoes: $175 annual allowance. Prescription Safety Glasses: Up to $250 annually (per policy).
