Waste Operator

About the role

Under the direction of the Production Supervisor, the Waste Operator is a key role in coordinating the cleanliness of the production floor and keeping essential supplies stocked. Success in this position is measured by maintaining and/or surpassing the everyday standards of the ID Logistics client.

Schedule

AWW Mon–Thur, 4:00 AM–2:30 PM (4 × 10-hour shifts)

Pay

$17.94 per hour

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Production Supervisor on warehouse housekeeping
• Pick up recycled corrugated cardboard and process through the compactor
• Utilize a manual pallet jack
• Keep stations/tables stocked with labels, coffee pallets, cardboard, and build pallets
• Maintain cleanliness of the production floor
• Empty and dispose of trash from containers in assigned areas
• Assist with cleaning common spaces such as restrooms, breakrooms, and offices as needed
• Maintain and organize damaged pallets outside the warehouse
• Communicate all issues to the Production Supervisor
• Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
