Waste Industry Division Manager- Lake Charles

Essential Job Functions

• Supporting all accounting functions, including fiduciary, purchasing, budgetary, forecast, and financial planning responsibilities.
• Maintaining constructive working relationships with managers, drivers, helpers, mechanics, and office staffs of each area and their related teams, along with other departments within the organization.
• Mentoring and developing staff by overseeing department managers to ensure compliance with company policy and procedures.
• Overseeing recruitment efforts for all exempt and non-exempt personnel, and overseeing new personnel training to ensure compliance with all policies and procedures.
• Developing and reviewing monthly needs and analyzing yearly projections for the budget.
• Developing cost savings plans and assisting with the development and implementation of related annual goals and initiatives.
• Identifying and implementing process and control improvements, and overseeing the implementation of special projects.
• Maintaining relationships with Municipal staff and developing new relationships for future growth.

Other Job Responsibilities

• Attending and participating in corporation-sponsored training courses as assigned.
• Keeping up to date on current technology, as job-appropriate, being used by Waste Pro USA.
• Assisting with any additional job duties assigned by the Regional Vice President.

Work Environment

Mostly office and community-based settings. This is a high visibility position and requires a professional yet casual appearance.
