Responsibilities
- Ensure timely pick-ups of all waste and recycled materials and communicate with the requesters on pick-up timing and completion of the task.
- All waste handlers are responsible for the following as it relates to the facility’s hazardous, non-hazardous, medical, universal and recycling wastes.
- Perform required inspections.
- Attend all training as required.
- Ensure all waste handling areas are clean and in order.
- Communicate with the EH&S team.
- Ensure that all duties are carried out in compliance with regulatory guidelines.
- Ability to work in all weather conditions.
- All other duties assigned as needed.
Qualifications
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Possess a strong sense of urgency and the ability to multitask.
- Ability to work with others in a team setting as needed.
- Flexibility as it relates to daily work activities.
