Warwick/Cranston Evening and Weekend Pet Sitter / Dog Walker

About the role

Furry Fellas Pet Service LLC is hiring for an experienced Pet Care Professional to provide evening and weekend pet sitting and dog walking services.

Responsibilities

• Visit client's homes to care for their pets while they are at work or on vacation
• Walk, exercise dogs, let them out for bathroom breaks, provide love and attention
• May include feeding, medicating, providing fresh water, cleaning up after animals, litter boxes, etc.
• Leave a note for clients after each visit so they know how the visits went

Requirements

• Loves dogs and/or cats, enjoys the outdoors, and is active
• Experienced with dogs of various sizes and energy levels AND/OR experienced with cats/other small animals
• Reliable transportation, owns a smartphone, works well independently, and has good communication skills/customer service skills
• Flexible schedule, desires to learn, and is looking to make a difference daily in the lives of others

Qualifications

• Experience working/volunteering with animals (dogs/cats, etc.)
• Passion for working with and helping animals

• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work independently

Pay

• $16-$18 per hour depending on experience

• Evenings and weekends as needed
• Position starts out slow, part-time, and will gradually be booked up
