About the role

PACCAR is a global technology leader in the design, manufacture, and customer support of high-quality light-, medium-, and heavy-duty trucks under the Kenworth, Peterbilt, and DAF nameplates. As a Warranty Team Lead, you will provide onboarding/training support, perform technical and administrative duties, serve as a subject matter expert, and collaborate with external and internal stakeholders to address business challenges and opportunities for improvement.

Responsibilities

  • Provide onboarding/training support for new employees/as needed
  • Provide best-in-class support to our Dealers and Fleet Customers on a regular basis
  • Perform additional technical and administrative duties as assigned
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned responsibilities
  • Work closely with external/internal stakeholders and management to understand business challenges and opportunities for improvement

  • Work with Supplier Recovery, Engineering, and Quality departments to analyze and process warranty claims per the established guidelines

Qualifications & Skills

  • 4-year degree completed or in progress required
  • 3+ years of experience required
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, intermediate to advanced skills in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Tableau
  • Good recall of detail and mechanical aptitude
  • Self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced just-in-time environment with rapidly changing objectives
  • Able to accept responsibility for assigned projects and work effectively under general or minimal supervision
  • Ability to create and manage ad-hoc queries and dashboards within Snowflake or Tableau to help support claim management and goals, a plus
  • Experience defining requirements and using data and metrics to draw business insights
  • Able to remain organized and meet deadlines when dealing with areas of ambiguity
  • The ideal candidate will be comfortable with processing large volumes of (claims) data and be able to provide data-driven answers to questions about the material processed
