Warmline Operator - Part Time Sunrise Shift

Responsibilities
- Takes calls from callers around the state and provides them phone support.
- Takes part in ongoing training and team-building activities.
- Works closely with other Shift Leaders in a supportive work environment.
- Keeps track of all data logs and enters data professionally.
- Presents data accurately and professionally.
- Writes reports as necessary to the Warmline Shift Leader or assigned Warmline Supervisor.
- Provides all information in a timely and professional manner.
Requirements
- Identify as a person with lived experience of having big feelings and provide support to others through difficult times.
- Must possess a certificate for completion of the Core Training in Intentional Peer Support (IPS).
- Become registered with the Oregon Health Authority Traditional Health Worker registry as a Peer Support Specialist within the first 6 months of working for the Warmline.
- Show a working understanding of the Warmline and its services.
- Work with minimal supervision and participate in ongoing trainings and meetings as assigned.
- Adhere to all policies and procedures and respect, give feedback, and communicate effectively.
- Show or be willing to learn about cross-cultural issues, dual diagnosis/addictions, and effects of PTSD/trauma.
- Handle highly confidential information and adhere to rules and laws pertaining to client confidentiality.
- Communicate effectively in both written and oral formats or with assistance.
- Learn, use, or do the following: Microsoft Office (MS Word, Excel, and Publisher), keeping written and digital logs for data collection, conference calls monthly state wide, email, office automation such as printers, fax, and multi phone lines.
Qualifications
- Education and/or experience: Identify as a person with lived experience of having big feelings and provide support to others through difficult times.
