About the role

ITW’s Warewash Business Division is seeking an ITW Engineering Intern for its Troy, Ohio location, 20 minutes north of Dayton, Ohio. Reporting to an engineering manager, the intern will be assigned various projects supporting commercial dishwasher development and improvement.

Responsibilities

• Assist with product testing, validation, and data analysis to evaluate mechanical system performance and support engineering decisions.
• Create and modify CAD models, prototypes, and engineering designs to support product improvements and new product development initiatives.
• Conduct product evaluations, equipment teardowns, and technical research to identify design enhancements and improve functionality.
• Develop technical documentation, assembly instructions, and project presentations to communicate processes, findings, and recommendations.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and operations teams on assembly, troubleshooting, field support, and continuous improvement projects.

Requirements

• Ability to work on-site at the Troy, Ohio location five days per week.
• Classwork toward a BS Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Proficiency with MS Office applications.
• Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in office and lab environments.

Pay

$19–$26 per hour.
