Job Description As a Warehouser at National Oilwell Varco, L.P., you will play a crucial role in our operations by ensuring the smooth flow of materials and supplies. Your responsibilities will include receiving and identifying incoming items, storing them efficiently, and distributing or shipping them as needed. You will maintain accurate inventory records, conduct physical inventories, and ensure the warehouse is clean and safe. Additionally, you will operate warehouse machinery and report any maintenance issues. Your contributions will directly impact our company's efficiency and productivity. Responsibilities Assist in shipping and receiving processes as required. Read and interpret warehouse documentation to determine item movements. Move items to designated areas, ensuring proper storage and organization. Record material movements in our computer database for accurate inventory tracking. Conduct physical inventories and cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy. Post materials received and disbursed, updating inventory records. Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse environment. Operate warehouse machinery safely and report any equipment issues. Comply with all NOV Company and HSE policies and procedures. Perform other assigned tasks as needed to support warehouse operations. Qualifications High school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Basic computer skills are essential for record-keeping and database management. At least 1 year of warehouse experience is required for this role. Forklift operating experience is a must-have for efficient material handling. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds is necessary for the physical demands of the job. Excellent organizational skills to manage inventory and maintain a clean warehouse. Attention to detail for accurate record-keeping and inventory management. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with the team. Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently. Overtime availability is required to meet operational needs.
