Warehouser

Primary Responsibilities

• Perform shipping, receiving, and stocking warehouse tasks.
• Read appropriate warehouse documentation to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed or shipped.
• Move items to appropriate areas.
• Record amounts of materials or items moved into computer database.
• Affiliate in conducting physical inventories and cycle counts.
• Affiliate with maintaining inventory records by posting materials received and disbursed, writing shortage lists and distributing them as required.
• Maintain daily pre-use inspections on equipment prior to operation.
• Maintain the warehouse in a clean, orderly and safe manner.
• Participate in shop inspections/investigations, including shop, environment, equipment and HSE incidents.
• Assemble containers and crates, record contents manually, pack goods to be shipped and provide shipping instructions.
• Operate the warehouse machinery in a safe manner and report any equipment maintenance or problems to your immediate supervisor.
• Perform other work-related tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

• Must possess a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Microsoft Office knowledge required.
• ERP experience preferred.
• Warehouse software experience required.
• Must have 1 year warehouse experience.
• Preferred 2-3 years’ warehouse experience.
• Forklift operating experience required.
• Electric reach truck experience preferred.
• Knowledge and experience of rigging and loading preferred.

Job Requirements

• Overtime may be required.
• On-call rotation is required.
• Must be able to work at heights and lift up to 50 pounds.
