Warehouseperson I/ Non CDL
About the role
We are hiring a Warehouseperson I/Non CDL in Lihue, HI. This position contributes by completing customer cylinder deliveries via Hot Shot Truck, receiving branch inventory, and collaborating with the branch manager on cylinder filling duties. You will also help the team by moving and sorting materials on racks, shelves, or in designated areas by hand, hand-truck, dolly, and/or forklift. Additionally, you will account for incoming and outgoing stock, use a computer to maintain and update the status of orders, backorders, fills, and inventory, pack parcels for mailing or third-party shipping, and stock and track inventory.
Responsibilities
- Complete customer cylinder deliveries via Hot Shot Truck
- Receive branch inventory
- Collaborate with the branch manager on cylinder filling duties
- Moving and sorting materials on racks, shelves, or in designated areas by hand, hand-truck, dolly, and/or forklift
- Account for incoming and outgoing stock
- Use a computer to maintain and update the status of orders, backorders, fills, and inventory
- Pack parcels for mailing or third-party shipping
- Stock and track inventory
- Handle hazardous materials
Requirements
- Must possess a clean and safe driving record, with no at-fault accidents or serious moving violations within the past three (3) years
- Must have a minimum of three (3) years experience in welding industry and/or warehousing operations, including shipping and receiving preferred
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Customer service oriented and able to interact with the public in a professional manner
- Flexible to work flexible hours to meet customer needs and management expectations
- Efficient in a fast-paced environment and detail-oriented with good organizational skills
- Able to work independently and under some pressure to meet deadlines
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent

Pay
The hourly base pay range for this position in Hawaii is $24.14/hr. Please note that the hourly base pay information is a general guideline only. Airgas considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate’s work experience, education/ training, key skills as well as market and business considerations when extending an offer.
