Non CDL Driver - Warehouse Associate
Richards Building Supply Co. is currently searching for a Non CDL Driver/Warehouse Associate for their Michigan City, IN location.
About the Role
The role involves delivering products to job sites, physically unloading material as per customer requests, and managing warehouse operations including receiving, loading, and processing inventory.
Responsibilities
- Safely deliver products to job sites
- Physically unload materials as per customer requests
- Receive materials in the warehouse
- Load trucks with scheduled day’s deliveries
- Unload trucks and receive merchandise at the warehouse
- Move materials and items from receiving to designated areas
- Lift up to 100 lbs. of material throughout the day
- Lift over 100 lbs. may be required occasionally
- Comply with DOT regulations regarding weight distribution
Requirements
- Non-CDL license with at least 1 year of box truck driving experience
- Current DOT medical card
- Clean driving record
- Must be at least 21 years old
- Heavy lifting experience
- Pass background check and pre-employment DOT drug screen
Qualifications
- CDL B or Non-CDL Chauffer's License
