Work Schedule & Compensation
- First Shift (Monday – Friday)
- Pay Rate: $22.00/HR
Responsibilities
- Successfully ship out orders of the day in a timely, safe and productive manner
- Perform powered industrial truck pre-use safety inspection checklist
- Report malfunctioning powered industrial trucks and use lockout/Tagout SOPs
- Direct, stage and place all material in or outside the building using proper material handling equipment
- Pick, prepare, package, document, label, and ship all material according to prescribed regulations and using accurate dispatching equipment
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to read and write in English
- Commitment to working in a safe and efficient manner
- Capable of operating powered industrial trucks
- Able to lift 40 lbs. without assistance
- Comfortable working in an environment with hazardous and non-hazardous materials
- Ability to work alternately in a seated or standing position
Preferred Qualifications
- Work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or related field
- Experience with powered industrial trucks
- Forklift operator experience is helpful
Work Environment
- Cold Room/Freezers (-22°F / -6°C)
- Fluctuating temperatures (hot/cold)
- Loud noises (equipment/machinery)
- Strong odors (chemical, lubricants, biological products, etc.)
- Various outside weather conditions
- Warehouse environment
- Work with hazardous/toxic materials
- Working at heights
- Some degree of PPE required (safety glasses, gowning, gloves, lab coat, ear plugs, etc.)
- Adherence to all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) Safety Standards
