Warehouse Person (U) - 1st Shift

About the role

Under the supervision of the Warehouse Manager or Warehouse Supervisor, operates hand dolly or mechanical lift to move material and product in any area of the plant. Must be familiar with material and product and the locations in their storage areas. Responsible for performing work in a quality manner and producing a quality product.

Responsibilities

• Operate a fork lift, hand dolly, or mechanical lift.
• Understand and complete all necessary functions of the operation of the Inventory Management Bar Code System related to the movement of material throughout the warehouse.
• Perform work in the following areas: Receiving, Staging, General Warehouse, Line Supply, Shipping, Mezzanine, and Clean-up.
• Unload, identify, and count all incoming components (Receiving).
• Correctly ticket and properly place components in the warehouse location (General Warehouse).
• Move components from warehouse and/or shuttles to the desired area (Staging).
• Supply all lines with the correct components and return all unused components to the warehouse (Line Supply and Mezzanine).
• Move palletized finished goods from the production area, receive shipping information, and properly load goods on trailers (Shipping).
• Perform other duties as directed by Warehouse Manager or Supervisor.
• Operate all equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
