Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently deliver products to customers.
- Perform warehouse tasks such as order picking, packing, shelving, and inventory maintenance.
- Operate forklifts and hand-held scanners to streamline operations.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely and punctually deliver appliances, lighting, and plumbing products to customers’ specified locations, ensuring high-quality service and accurate order fulfillment.
- Operate delivery vehicles in compliance with traffic laws and weight limits, maintaining a clean and safe vehicle interior and conducting regular inspections to ensure proper functioning, promptly reporting any safety concerns to management.
- Load and unload trucks and oversee safe material handling at job sites, ensuring accurate distribution, placement, and stocking of products while adhering to company and regulatory safety standards.
- Complete daily delivery paperwork and use scanning equipment with precision to ensure accurate record-keeping, billing, and compliance, obtaining customer signatures on packing slips to confirm receipt of goods.
- Ensure punctual deliveries through efficient route planning, adapting flexibly to changing schedules, specific customer requirements, or urgent on-call assignments, utilizing specialized equipment as needed.
- Aid in training new Delivery Drivers to ensure team success and consistency in service standards.
- Support warehouse duties, including picking, packing, shelving, and inventory maintenance, while maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
Requirements
- Must successfully pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Proficient in basic mathematical operations, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division with numbers up to four digits.
- Capable of organizing items systematically by size, alphabetical order, or numerical sequence, and grouping similar items accurately.
- Familiarity with protocols for handling accidents in the warehouse or while operating a company vehicle, ensuring compliance with safety and reporting procedures.
- Strong organizational skills with a keen attention to detail to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Basic proficiency in operating standard office equipment (e.g., copiers, fax machines) and the ability to quickly learn new systems.
- Able to acquire and apply fundamental computer skills, including email communication and inventory management software.
- Fluent in English, with effective reading, writing, and verbal communication skills.
- Physically capable of consistently lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds.
- Eligible to obtain certification for safe operation of forklifts and man lifts, adhering to industry standards (must be at least 18 years old to operate equipment).
- Equivalent combination of education, training, and experience that demonstrates the required competencies.
- A high school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Prior experience in warehouse operations, plumbing, or forklift operation is advantageous but not mandatory.
- Minimum of two years of verifiable driving experience.
- Valid Oregon driver’s license with a clean driving record, free of violations or accidents.

Pay
Individual total compensation for this position will be determined at the Company's sole discretion and may vary based on several factors, including but not limited to, location, skill level, years and depth of relevant experience, qualifications and other business considerations.
