Warehouse Worker / Qualified Driver
About the role
PACE Supply is a leading wholesale distributor of plumbing, heating, and industrial supplies. We are currently seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouse Worker / Qualified Driver to join our team in Oakland, CA.
Responsibilities
- Efficiently receive, store, and distribute plumbing products
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders while keeping inventory accurate and shelves stocked
- Safely make local deliveries to customers using a bobtail flatbed truck
- Work closely with dispatch to ensure timely and smooth delivery schedules
Requirements
- Holds a valid California Class C driver's license with a clean driving record
- Obtain a medical examiners certificate
- Has prior warehouse and delivery experience (working with dispatch is a plus)
- Is organized, detail-oriented, and communicates well with customers
- Can comfortably lift heavy packages and thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Qualifications
- High school diploma (or equivalent) is preferred
- Previous warehouse experience is strongly preferred, but not required
- 2 years of professional driving related experience and/or training
- Able to pass DOT physical to obtain a medical examiners certificate
- Ability to pass a background check and drug test
Skills
Must possess a valid CA Class C Driver’s license and be at least 21 years of age. Must have clean driving record. Able to pass DOT physical to obtain a medical examiners certificate. Can pass a background check and drug test. Previous warehouse experience is strongly preferred, but not required. 2 years of professional driving related experience and/or training.
