Warehouse Worker (PM) - Wilmington, NC

Pay

Starting pay: $21.00 per hour.

Schedule

Sunday – Thursday nights (temperature‑controlled warehouse).

Responsibilities

• Read production schedules, customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
• Safely drive and operate forklift equipment.
• Convey materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or other designated areas.
• Select, stock, load and/or unload all products ordered by customers.
• Accurately and efficiently fill requisitions by retrieving required products per the customer order.
• Sort and place materials or items on conveyors, racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence (size, type, style, color, or product code).
• Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves, or convey orders to the packing station or shipping department.
• Accurately mark materials with identifying information.
• Load trucks according to wave sequence.
• Prepare loads leaving during production as well as those leaving the next morning.
• Return products to appropriate areas.
• Open boxes and other containers.
• Repack breakage.
• Maintain a safe, organized, and clean work area, including removal of trash, broken glass, cardboard, etc., at the end of the shift.
• Check with a member of the management team before leaving at the end of the shift.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the manager and/or supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification (forklift experience preferred).
