About the role

As a Warehouse Lead Worker, you are responsible for receiving and processing incoming stock/product, preparing and completing orders for delivery or pickup, and performing inventory and quality controls. You may also oversee or delegate responsibilities within the warehouse operation. Essential functions and responsibilities may vary by location based on client requirements and business needs.

Responsibilities

• Receive products and merchandise, checking for quality and damage, and ensure proper storage of delivered items.
• Perform transfers of products and/or merchandise to and from the warehouse.
• Process requests for supplies, prepare merchandise for delivery, and package items for shipping according to established procedures.
• Schedule and assign daily work assignments to a team and oversee task completion.
• Operate equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
• Perform physical inventory as needed.
• Ensure the security of company assets.
• Adapt to changing job duties or new assignments as needed to meet commitments.

Requirements

• Previous warehouse experience required.
• Experience in a supervisor or related role preferred.
• Ability to work independently with limited supervision.
• Ability to follow basic safety procedures and precautions due to physical risks.
• Basic math and counting skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Physical Demands

• Lifting, bending, pushing, pulling, and/or extended walking and standing.
• May require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Proteive Equipment (PPE).
