Warehouse Worker - Bagel Picking - Day Shift

Pay

$20.32 per hour

Schedule

Sunday–Wednesday, 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack bagel orders in a fast-paced assembly line process.
• Remain on your feet and moving for the duration of your shift.
• Work in ambient temperatures ranging from 55–75 degrees.
• Perform bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, and walking.
• Push/pull stacks of bagels to assigned pack areas and from trailers to staging areas.
• Load and offload full and empty bagels from/onto trailers.
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) policies.
• Push/pull up to 50 lbs. (on wheels).
• Perform additional duties such as stamping/coding, labeling, removing labels from plastic totes, and general warehouse cleanup.

Requirements

• No prior warehouse experience required but preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Proficient reading skills and ability to follow directions.
• Ability to work independently, provide customer service, multitask, and manage time effectively.
• Flexibility to work overtime preferred.
• Ability to work in non-climate-controlled conditions.
• Regular, predictable, full attendance is essential.
• Complete a Penske employment application, background investigation (including past employment, education, and criminal history), and drug screening.
• This position is safety-sensitive; associates must maintain constant alertness and work safely while accepting responsibility for their own safety and the safety of others.

• Ability to remember and understand instructions, guidelines, or other information.
• Must be able to see and verbally communicate; specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
• Frequent movement, standing, walking, and sitting required.
• Frequent use of hands to touch, handle, and feel, as well as reaching with hands and arms.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 lbs/23 kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 lbs/45 kg.
