Warehouse Worker

About the Role

Consolidated Pipe & Supply is a national leader in piping, fittings, valves and accessories for the energy, oil & gas, utility, construction, water, and sewer industries. We are looking for a dependable Warehouse Worker who enjoys hands-on work, teamwork, stability, growth, and a supportive environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and trailers of material
• Store away incoming material in the proper place
• Verify packing slip with incoming product
• Position blocks and/or tie rope around items to secure cargo during transit
• Follow safety rules and work procedures
• Clean work area
• Perform other duties as needed

Requirements

• Ability to operate a forklift
• General knowledge of warehouse operations such as picking and pulling orders
• Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
• Ability to read and understand information and ideas presented in writing
• Pre-employment drug screening and clean driving record required
• General knowledge of computers and handheld scanners considered a plus

Work Environment

Company warehouse, plant, or production areas with periods of continual standing or walking.
