Warehouse Worker - Arizona State University Athletics

Job Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect products, accurately label items, and report discrepancies.
• Organize and store incoming products according to FIFO principles for perishables.
• Pick inventory to assemble orders, following SOPs for accuracy and production standards.
• Load, unload, and transport products and materials within the warehouse and to client locations.
• Conduct routine physical inventory counts based on established schedules.
• Complete administrative duties including inventory count documents, temperature and spoilage logs, equipment inspections, and other relevant business records.
• Clean work areas as assigned, including restrooms, break areas, loading docks, freight elevators, and freight platforms.
• Implement and adhere to all location safety policies, OSHA requirements, SDS standards, and emergency procedures.
• Use required safety equipment and personal protective equipment.
• Take appropriate measures to ensure the security of client and company assets.
• Interact with clients, employees, vendors, customers, and guests regarding business-related activities.

Qualifications

• Must be over 18 years old.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous warehouse experience is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• A valid Food Handler Certificate and Alcohol Server Certification are required.
• Candidates must obtain these certifications before their start date.
• Manual dexterity required for operating machinery.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs frequently and up to 35 lbs occasionally.
• Some client locations may require a valid driver's license.
