Warehouse Worker afternoons

About the role

At Pilgrim’s, Safety Is A Condition, which means the safety of our team members comes first — always. This position is for a Warehouse Worker on the afternoon/night shift at Pilgrim's in Cold Spring, MN.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the general operation and basic maintenance of the auto scale
• Performs manual scaling at the reweigh station, including general operation and basic maintenance
• Constant repetition of stacking boxes weighing 50 pounds on pallets segregated by product code
• Assists with rework by either repairing cases or identifying cases for return
• Assures inventory accuracy by submitting daily scale adjustment reports
• Rotates stock as required
• Operates forklift and pallet jack safely and efficiently
• Loads trucks both with equipment and by hand, cases varying in weight up to 50 pounds
• Fills customer orders accurately using Telxon equipment
• Keeps area clean by performing daily general sanitation
• Reports shipping problems or concerns to Supervisor or Lead Person immediately
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• Pallet jack or forklift certification preferred
• Handheld scanner experience preferred
• Ability to work in a cold environment
• Ability to work well with others
• Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more
• Demonstrated ability to perform basic math skills including addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication (Prove It test)

Schedule

Monday – Friday with occasional weekends, 3:00 pm – 11:30 pm.

Pay

Base salary: $22.94 per hour plus $1.00 shift differential.
