Warehouse Worker - 1st Shift
About the Role
Warehouse workers will unload trucks, transfer and store finished products, assemble boxes and cartons, and perform other duties as assigned by management. They will ensure compliance with corporate and plant safety standards, as well as applicable laws and regulations. Reasonable mandatory overtime may be required due to business needs.
Responsibilities
- Unload trucks and store raw materials in designated areas.
- Drive forklift and load trucks with finished products according to customer specifications.
- Transfer and store finished products in the warehouse.
- Repack damaged containers and maintain proper order in storage areas.
- Assist in inventory of raw materials and finished goods.
- Keep materials segregated by type and color.
- Fill customer requisitions and shipment orders.
- Assemble boxes and cartons, and hand-pack materials as needed.
- Prepare materials for the grinding process when required.
- Keep production lines supplied with raw materials.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Basic mathematical skills.
- Basic computer experience.
