Warehouse (WHS) & Logistics Clerk
About the Role
The Warehouse & Logistics Clerk supports daily warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, and inventory control. This role ensures the accurate and timely movement of materials and products to support production and customer orders.
Responsibilities
- Shipping & Receiving
- Receive incoming shipments and verify accuracy against purchase orders and packing slips
- Inspect goods for damage and report discrepancies
- Prepare and pack outgoing shipments according to company standards
- Generate and maintain shipping documentation (labels, bills of lading, etc.)
- Coordinate with carriers for pickups and deliveries
- Inventory Control
- Maintain accurate inventory counts through regular cycle counts and audits
- Record and track inventory movements in the system
- Organize and store materials in designated warehouse locations
- Report inventory discrepancies and assist in resolving issues
- Warehouse Operations
- Load and unload materials as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Follow all safety procedures and company policies
- Support production needs by staging materials as required
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1+ year of warehouse, shipping/receiving, or logistics experience preferred
- Basic computer skills (data entry, inventory systems, or Excel preferred)
- Experience with ERP or inventory management systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Forklift certification (preferred)
