About the Role

Abbott Nutrition is seeking a Material Control - Utilities candidate for our Distribution Center facility in Casa Grande, AZ. This role involves receiving, handling, storing, recording, and dispatching goods in a warehouse environment under direct supervision, following established procedures and guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Receive incoming goods, check for damage, and verify discrepancies between goods and invoices.
• Pick, pack, receive, and dispatch outgoing goods according to written or verbal requests or orders.
• Ensure proper routing of materials while transporting them between departments.
• Enter data into a database or computerized system to maintain up-to-date stock and inventory records.
• Retrieve stored information to respond to inquiries (e.g., stock transfer, inventory levels, or delivery schedules).
• Perform routine clerical activities, such as updating stock cards, inventory records, and completing receipt, transfer, delivery, and dispatch forms.
• Adhere to compliance standards, including FDA, OSHA, and Abbott policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED (required).
• Forklift experience (preferred), including sit and electric forklifts (Yale Forklift).
• Experience working in warehouse racks.
• Computer experience is helpful (e.g., SAP).

Pay

The base pay for this position is $19.05 – $38.15 per hour. In specific locations, the pay range may vary from the range posted.

Schedule

Shift: 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, Monday to Friday with rotating weekends.
