About the role

The Warehouse Operator / Delivery Driver position at Reece & Fortiline is a vital role in ensuring the safety and efficiency of delivering essential materials to customers. This role involves working cooperatively in a team environment to manage inventory, verify and stage incoming materials, and ensure accurate customer deliveries.

Responsibilities

• Working cooperatively in a team within the warehouse to efficiently receive, verify, stage and stock incoming material in order to maintain inventory standards
• Verifying all loads to ensure accurate customer deliveries
• Properly loading and unloading the materials from the truck, and maintaining inventory control
• Operating the class of vehicle necessary for the assignment
• Driving in various conditions, including urban and construction settings
• Delivering high quality customer service and professionalism

Requirements

• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Must have and maintain a valid driver's license for assigned vehicle class
• Class C – Anything 26,000 lbs or less combined gross weight
• Class B – Box truck with a combined vehicle weight of 26,001lbs or more
• Have and maintain a clean driving record

Qualifications

• Knowledge of DOT regulations
• Forklift Certification
• Skills and knowledge to advance your career into leadership, CDL driver, or sales opportunities
• Additional physical demands of this role require bending, squatting, crouching, reaching, lifting 75 pounds or more, and working indoors/outdoors as required by the job during the assigned work hours
