Position Summary
The Truck Loader performs all nightly operations of the loading department.
What you’ll do
- Performs nighttime warehouse operations.
- Performs all loading crew duties, ensuring adherence to company policies, procedures, goals, and deadlines.
- Models company policies and procedures.
- Ensures all trucks are loaded according to procedures and deadlines.
- Responsible for the cleanliness and organization of the warehouse.
- Works with Quality Assurance Team to ensure specific Good Manufacturing Practices are being followed.
- Adheres to all company food safety policies, procedures, and trainings.
Physical Requirements
- Regularly required to talk or hear.
- Frequent standing, walking, reaching, climbing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
- Must be able to work in tight and/or dim places and be comfortable with heights.
- Must be able to lift and/or move objects up to 30 pounds, frequently lift and/or move objects up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds.
- Vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
About you
- 1+ year experience in warehouse environment.
- Food industry experience preferred.
- High school diploma/GED, or equivalent experience required.
