About the role
The Trainer will train and develop new and existing warehouse employees on standard operating procedures and safety processes and procedures. The Trainer and all employees at S&S Activewear and all employees must adhere to the guidelines presented in the S&S Activewear Employee Handbook.
Responsibilities
- Train and develop warehouse staff by teaching and enforcing SOP's
- Responsible for stock chaser/Equipment training and Certification safety and operation
- Provide the company tour to new employees
- Responsible for Evaluate / Audit employees in training and communicate issues ASAP
- Identify training needs and communicate them to the training coordinator
- Troubleshoot issues with tablets
- Document the training by completing all required paperwork
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Act professionally and remain focused while working
- Safely operate all warehouse equipment
- Perform cleaning activities as required
- Maintain a positive attitude
Requirements
- Must be in good standing
- Excellent attendance and performance
- Training experience of 2 years in a team-oriented workplace, preferred
- Good interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching and development skills
- Able to communicate and explain processes effectively
- Able to read and speak English
- Able to coach and develop team members to achieve company goals
- Basic computer skills
- People oriented
- Detail oriented
- Able to operate in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible schedule and ability to work overtime when required
- Bilingual preferred but not required
- Protective Equipment Required
- Must be able to wear proper safety equipment (safety toe shoes, bump caps and safety vest)
Qualifications
- Must be able to stand and walk for an 8+ hour shift
- Frequent grasping, lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, stooping, kneeling, crouching, reaching, and handling of items with hands and arms, up to 50 lbs
- Moderate hand-eye coordination, near vision, far vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, adjusting focus and hearing
- Work in a high-volume, high-demand environment while meeting strenuous customer deadlines
- Interact with employees at all levels

Pay
$17.50 hourly
