About the role
From warehouse storage areas, you will train selectors to fill customer orders.
Responsibilities
- Read computer-generated stickers to determine items to be selected and their locations.
- Convey items from warehouse slots to pallets to fill customer orders.
- Place materials or items on pallets to ensure optimal delivery order and product safety.
- Sort and stack perishable goods in refrigerated, freezer, or dry pallets based on product type.
- Mark materials with identifying information by attaching stickers to products.
- Operate hand pallet jacks to transport palletized items from warehouse storage to loading dock.
- Shrink-wrap pallets correctly.
- Complete initial training in accident reporting, safety, and HACCP.
- Train warehouse staff and drivers in the safe operation of powered industrial trucks (forklifts/pallet jacks).
- Follow supervisor instructions and perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
- 3–5 years of related experience in warehousing and powered industrial trucks.
