Warehouse Trainer (1st Shift)

About the role

Misfits Market is seeking an organized individual to support the functional training of new hires as a Certified Trainer. This role will assist with training in their home department when needed, conduct departmental on-the-floor training and cross-training for all hourly associates, evaluate performance, and ensure all required training documentation is completed properly and in a timely manner.

Responsibilities

• Reports to their department manager, while assisting with training in their home department when needed.
• Conduct departmental on-the-floor training and cross-training for all hourly associates utilizing approved training materials.
• Evaluate performance and make recommendations on performance in line with training material.
• Ensure all required training documentation is completed properly and in a timely manner.
• Act as a friendly point-of-contact to support any new hires.
• Collaborate on identifying necessary training material updates or opportunities.
• Maintain a high level of availability in carrying out training needs on a day to day basis.

Requirements

• HS Diploma or equivalent desirable.
• Experience training peers or groups desirable.
• Experience facilitating training or presentations to groups of students (5+ people) desirable.
• Bi-lingual (English / Spanish) desirable.
• Must be self-motivated, highly detail-oriented and organized.
• Written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly influential.
• Willing to work overtime and possible weekends as needed.
• Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment; experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong relationship building skills.
