About the Role

A Warehouse Technician II performs a variety of high-volume warehouse tasks, including order pulling, product receiving, shipping, and labeling. The role requires clear communication, problem-solving, and teamwork, with a focus on supporting the training of other team members. The ideal candidate is a multi-tasker who can cover all areas of warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

  • High accuracy in order picking, shipping, and receiving of hazardous and non-hazardous materials.
  • Consistently perform and assist others in all areas of 5S (sort, straighten, shine, standardize, and sustain).
  • Operate in various warehouse areas as needed and cross-train other employees.
  • Certified and trained to operate all necessary warehouse equipment in accordance with safety procedures.
  • Follow ISO 9001 Quality standards and OSHA & EH&S guidelines.
  • Comply with U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations.
  • Perform job functions in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs) and statements of work (SOWs).
  • Facilitate two-way communication with coworkers and supervisory personnel to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Monitor and report on product quality and instances of misconduct (e.g., violations of the code of conduct, harassment, theft).
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED required.
  • IATA and CFR49 Certificate of completion.
  • Forklift certification and training for all types.
  • Knowledge of OSHA and EH&S requirements.
  • 2+ years of warehouse operations experience, preferably in industrial, electronics assembly, or aerospace and defense distribution.
  • Experience creating statements of work (SOW) and using inventory management systems, preferably in a chemical or industrial setting.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving, and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Attention to detail and ability to multi-task.
  • Computer literate in MS Word and Outlook; working knowledge of shipping and receiving software.
  • Ability to read/write in English.
  • Warehouse management system experience (TWL experience with an RF gun preferred).

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to safely perform essential job functions in compliance with ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state, and local standards, including meeting productivity requirements.
  • Ability to maintain regular and timely attendance.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when necessary.
