Responsibilities
- Support daily warehouse operations, including receiving, inventory management, material storage, picking, packing, shipping, and order fulfillment.
- Ensure inventory accuracy and maintain an organized, efficient, and safe warehouse environment.
- Process inbound and outbound shipments while supporting the efficient flow of materials throughout the warehouse.
- Perform cycle counts, inventory audits, and support annual physical inventory activities.
- Safely and proficiently operate all warehouse equipment, including forklifts, stand-up reach trucks, pallet jacks, and scissor lifts.
- Maintain accurate inventory transactions and documentation utilizing SAP, RF scanners, and related business systems.
- Support future WMS implementation efforts and assist in the development, standardization, and continuous improvement of warehouse processes, work instructions, SOPs, and operational best practices.
- Support safety initiatives, comply with company policies and regulatory requirements, and contribute to a culture where safety is a shared responsibility.
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of warehouse, distribution, manufacturing, or spare parts experience.
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, shipping, receiving, and material flow.
- Experience operating forklifts, stand-up reach trucks, and other warehouse material handling equipment.
- Ability to safely and proficiently operate all warehouse equipment utilized within the facility.
- SAP experience preferred; experience utilizing ERP systems, RF scanners, or warehouse technology strongly preferred.
- Experience working within or supporting a Warehouse Management System (WMS) environment preferred.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Ability to create, maintain, and utilize spreadsheets, reports, and electronic documentation.
- Experience supporting process improvement, warehouse standardization, or continuous improvement initiatives preferred.
- Strong commitment to safety, inventory accuracy, operational discipline, and customer service.
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work across all warehouse functions while maintaining productivity and accuracy.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform frequent walking, standing, bending, and lifting.
- Willingness and flexibility to work overtime, weekends, or adjusted schedules as needed to support customer commitments and business requirements.
Pay
$24.00 per hour.
Schedule
Standard working hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Flexibility and willingness to work overtime, weekends, or adjusted schedules as needed to support customer requirements, emergency orders, critical shipments, and business objectives.
