Warehouse Technician
About the role
The Warehouse Technician role supports mining operations at the Kensington Mine. This role ensures inventory accuracy, timely material availability, and compliance with safety and environmental standards.
Responsibilities
- Stop work for safety concerns, and abide by safety best practices, policies and procedures.
- Receive, inspect, label, and store incoming materials in accordance with company procedures.
- Accurately transact materials in Oracle/IMAFS, including receipts, issues, transfers, and cycle counts.
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, telehandlers, and other material handling equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
- Maintain warehouse organization and compliance with site 5S and housekeeping standards.
- Support safety culture by attending daily safety talks, completing equipment inspections, and reporting hazards.
- Provide quality customer service to internal departments by ensuring timely and accurate supply of parts.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and pass pre-employment physical, drug testing, and background check with satisfactory results.
- Must comply with all company, site, and regulatory safety and environmental requirements.

Benefits
The schedule for this position is 14 days on at the mine site located about 45-miles north of Juneau, accessible only through company transportation, and 14 days off.
Pay
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00 per hour.

Additional Information
The work environment includes a warehouse, shop, and outdoor work where you will be exposed to various weather conditions. The Warehouse Technician follows a structured progression model (Tech I-VII). Advancement is based on demonstrated knowledge, skills, certifications, performance, and leadership capabilities.
