Warehouse Technician

Essential Functions

• Filling customer orders with a very high level of accuracy.
• Perform assigned jobs efficiently.
• Determine appropriate packaging needed for damage-free shipping.
• Recognizes and reports inaccurate information on requests and orders.
• Able to operate shipping equipment and software.
• Regularly participates in ensuring the accuracy of the inventory.
• Regular and consistent attendance in meeting a defined work schedule.
• Occasionally required to lift or move up to 75 pounds.
• Good ability/experience with hand tools.

Other Functions

• Aid with other duties as assigned within the department or elsewhere on request.
• Able to safely operate materials handling equipment.
• Basic knowledge of the SAP processes and how they are used in our Warehouse operation.

• Ability to communicate in a positive manner with branches, agents, and departments.
• Ability to understand and carry out written or verbal instructions.
• Basic computer knowledge may be required.
• A chauffeur’s license and a satisfactory driving record may be required.
• Able to maintain a professional image.

About the Role

Auto-Owners Insurance, a top-rated insurance carrier, is seeking a motivated individual to join our Operational Services Division as a Warehouse Technician. This job consists of performing the processes and procedures that are needed to fulfill all customer orders and requests. This is done under general supervision.

Qualifications

The ability to work in the U.S. without current or future sponsorship is a requirement.
